What is BoF? I asked that myself. Before starting this course I was unaware by how many fashion news websites there was!
We were informed of a popular and informative site, called Business of Fashion. As is subscribed my morning routine has never been the same. Instead of checking missed messages, hardly none usually, Instagram feeds etc, I check my mailbox and see if there is any change in the fashion world, new trends? new directors of brands? even scandals?
I remember an article which intrigued me the most....

I found it shocking that most people would now buy their 'back-to-school' clothes over the internet rather than go into store.
I remember when I was in school, I'm only at university now so I'm not THAT ancient, the only thing that could get me excited for early wake up calls was thinking of all my new clothes! The excitement I used to get carrying, not me literally- my parents, all new outfits trying them on in store and now the growth of online shopping has spread to this???
No, I don't believe children, or even secondary school students are living their childhood by shopping for uniforms or back-to-school clothes by shopping online. This article was an eye opener as back-to-school shopping is one of the biggest rushes next to christmas sales and by having it fall by 4.7 percent is shocking.
